Skirmish FoW Round 3, Kiwi Infantry vs Brit Infantry in Fighting Withdrawal

The Maori are defiant in the face of tanks under the watchful eye of the old man!

The final round of the tournament I played against Nick and his Trained Brit Infantry list in Fighting withdrawal.  I won the dice roll so I had to attack.  His list was scary with 2 units of Churchill IIIs that I would have to deal with.  His list looked like this:

The 2nd game of the tournament was against Table Top Gamers Diragi who was playing a German Pioneer list that looked like this

FoW at Skirmish 2011, the terrain nights pay off!!

Here is a collection of pictures from the set up of the FoW Skirmish 2011, the battlefields and some of the armies.  Special thanks to Pripyat who wasn't able to attend up still loaned us a ton of scenery and Ca$h for organizing the whole thing.  Good luck on your exam next week!

Ca$h is great at organizing but unlucky when it comes to pictures.  The was taken around 0700 in the morning when we were all setting up tables.

FNF 5 Aug Round 2 NZ vs Panzer Grenadiers in Free-for-All

The combined arms of Kiwi Arty and Infantry drive back the Germans!

The second game that I had the chance to play was Free-for-All against Ca$h's Germans Grenadiers.  I was using the same 1500 point New Zealand Rifle Company list as last game.  Again it was in preparation for the upcoming Skirmish.

FNF vs The Terrain Guy in Free-for-all

German Planes swoop down on the Kiwis!

I had the chance to play against Shawn Morris (aka The Terrain Guy of RHQ fame) this FNF as he was in town for the 2011 FoW Skirmish.  I was playing my New Zealanders and he was playing Pioneers.  We had Ca$h, Matt Varnish and Lothlann hanging out and drinking some refreshments.
